GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina’s Nicole Greene and Brianna Duncan, Georgia Tech’s Jeanine Williams, repeat selection John Lewis of Clemson, and Miami’s Hasani Knight have been selected as Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Track and Field Performers of the Week for January 16.

ACC Women’s Field Performer of the Week
Nicole Greene, North Carolina
Greene’s jump of 6-2 (1.88m) at the Dick Taylor Cup ranks No. 1 in the nation. Her mark stands 1.5 inches better than any other Division I competitor so far this season and matches the top mark posted in the ACC last season (by Florida State’s Eleonora Omoregie). Last weekend’s mark was also Greene’s first PR in the event since her final meet as a senior in high school in 2015 (6-1.5). The Ponte Vedra, Florida native moved into second place in UNC history behind Olympian and former American record holder Tisha Waller, and moved ahead of her current coach, Nicole Hudson.
ACC Women’s Track Co-Performer of the Week
Jeanine Williams, Georgia Tech
Williams led the Georgia Tech women with an impressive finish at the Commodore Invitational. Finishing first in the 60m high hurdle prelims, the junior followed that performance with an 8.18 first-place time in the finals. Williams’ time ranks as the third-fastest in the NCAA thus far and leads the ACC. The Kingston, Jamaica junior also competed in the 60m dash, where she took second place in both prelims and finals with 7.547 and 7.48 times, respectively.
ACC Women’s Track Co-Performer of the Week
Brianna Duncan, North Carolina
Duncan’s time of 7.29 in the 60 meters at the Dick Taylor Cup is tied for the third fastest in the nation thus far and leads the ACC. The Cambridge, Massachusetts sophomore broke a 20-year-old school record in the event in the prelims with a time of 7.38. The previous record was 7.41, set by Crystal Cox. Duncan then broke her own record in the final with her time of 7.29. Duncan’s previous personal-best in the event was 7.51.
ACC Men’s Track Performer of the Week
John Lewis, Clemson
The junior from Philadelphia repeated as ACC Men’s Track Performer of the Week after posting a gold medal time of 1:49.22 in the 800 meters at the Ted Nelson Invitational that ranks fourth in the nation. Lewis, who led a field of 22 runners, currently owns this season’s top ACC times in both the 800 and the mile.

Hasani Knight, Miami
Knight earned a victory in his first competition as a Hurricane, winning the men's triple jump at the UAB Blazer Invitational with a mark of 15.26 meters (50-75) that ranks fourth all-time at Miami. Knight posted the winning mark on his first collegiate attempt, placing atop the field of 10 competitors at the Birmingham CrossPlex. The Virginia Beach, Virginia freshman’s mark ranks second in the ACC and No. 19 nationally.
