GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Louisville senior guard Asia Durr has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while NC State freshman center Elissa Cunane is this week’s ACC Rookie of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon by the conference office and voted upon by the Blue Ribbon Panel. 
 
Durr averaged 28.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals, while shooting 49 percent from the floor and totaled 10-of-12 made free throws in wins over UT Martin (102-62) and No. 19/19 Kentucky (80-75). She started the with 25 points on 8-of-18 shooting, 3-of-6 from deep and 6-of-6 from the line, while adding five rebounds, three assists and three steals against UT Martin. The Douglasville, Georgia, native then scored the first seven points en route to a 32-point performance on 13-of-25 shooting in the win over in-state rival Kentucky.
 
This is Durr’s third ACC Player of the Week honor of the season and ninth of her career.
 


Cunane averaged 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for the Wolfpack. She poured in a career-high 23 points in NC State’s 76-65 win at Georgetown on Saturday while also adding two rebounds, two assists and one steal. Earlier in the week, the Summerfield, North Carolina native contributed eight points, seven rebounds, two blocks and one assist in a win over Hampton.
