GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Notre Dame junior midfielder Bryan Costabile has been named the 2019 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year, and Duke junior defenseman JT Giles-Harris is this year’s Defensive Player of the Year.
North Carolina freshman goalie Caton Johnson has been named the ACC Freshman of the Year, while Virginia’s Lars Tiffany is the ACC Coach of the Year.
Costabile, a native of Sykesville, Maryland, leads the Irish and ranks fourth in the ACC with 37 goals in 14 games. Costabile has had several outstanding performances this season with seven hat tricks, including three five-goal games.

A native of Nyack, New York, Duke’s Giles-Harris spearheads the nation’s fourth-ranked scoring defense, which is limiting opponents to just 9.07 goals per game. A two-time ACC Defensive Player of the Week this season, Giles-Harris has 32 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.
