Greensboro, N.C. (theACC.com) –NC State’s Alexis Galarneau has been named the ACC Men’s Tennis Players of the Week, and Galarneau and teammate Robert Turzak have been selected as the Doubles Team of the Week.
 
A senior from Laval, Canada, Galarneau led in NC State to wins over No. 23 Virginia and Utah State. He won all four of his matches, highlighted by wins over Virginia’s Carl Söderlund at the No. 1 singles position, and the Cavaliers’ No. 53-ranked pair of Gianni Ross and William Woodall in doubles play.
 
Turzak, a junior hailing Košice, Slovakia, teamed up with Galarneau for the win at the No. 2 doubles position over Ross and Woodall. Galarneau and Turzak’s victory clinched the doubles point for NC State.
