Boston College Suffers First Loss to Kansas

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (bceagles.com) -- The Boston College football team lost to Kansas, 48-24, at Alumni Stadium on Friday night. The loss dropped the Eagles to 2-1, while the Jayhawks improved to 2-1.

BC led 17-7 after the first quarter with a touchdown run by AJ Dillon and touchdown reception from Korab Idrizi. Kansas took a brief lead in the second quarter before quarterback Anthony Brown was on the receiving end of a touchdown pass from wide receiver CJ Lewis that gave the Eagles a 24-21 lead with under a minute to go in the first half.
 

 
The Jayhawks responded with a late touchdown to go into halftime with a four point lead and proceeded to score 27-unanswered points through the end of the third quarter.
