GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - For the first time this season, all five ACC men's lacrosse teams will be in action this weekend as Notre Dame opens its regular season Saturday at home against Cleveland State.

ACC Network has a men’s lacrosse doubleheader on Saturday with Lafayette-No. 8 North Carolina at noon and Binghamton-No. 5 Syracuse at 2 p.m.

Top-ranked Virginia entertains No. 18 Lehigh at 1 p.m. Saturday, while No. 11 Duke travels to No. 8 Denver Saturday for a 2 p.m. game.

Noting ACC Men's Lacrosse
• All five ACC teams are ranked in the top 15 of each of the polls for the third straight week. The ACC has the most teams of any conference in each poll.
• Reigning NCAA and ACC champion Virginia tops the USILA Top 20 and is No. 2 in the Inside Lacrosse Poll.
• Syracuse attackman Chase Scanlan earned ACC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Virginia goalkeeper Alex Rode nabbed ACC Defensive Player of the Week laurels.
• Rode and Syracuse's Stephen Rehfuss (seven assists vs. Colgate) were named to the USILA Team of the Week. 
• 10 ACC student-athletes were named USILA Preseason All-Americans, while 19 earned spots on the Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America squad. Both totals are the most of any league.
• Syracuse has seven Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans this season – most of any school.
• 12 of the 18 honorees on the 2019 All-ACC Team are back this season.
• Each of the three ACC individual award winners returns this season: ND midfielder Bryan Costabile (Offensive POY), Duke defenseman JT Giles Harris (Defensive POY) and UNC goalie Caton Johnson (Freshman of Year).
• The 2020 ACC Men's Lacrosse Championship will be held April 24 and 26 at the site of the No. 1 seed. The league's top four teams will qualify for the championship.

ACC Tradition of Excellence
• Virginia won its sixth NCAA Championship last year. The current ACC programs have combined to win 25 national championships, including eight of the last 12.
• Duke head coach John Danowski owns the most wins of any active Division I head coach (413). 
• Entering the season, the ACC's veteran group of five head coaches had combined to win 1,337 games. Each has at least 14 years of head coaching experience and at least 150 career wins.

Record Coverage for ACC Lacrosse
• ACC Network (ACCN), the 24/7 national platform dedicated to ACC sports, will showcase the ACC’s men’s and women’s lacrosse programs with unprecedented national television coverage this spring.
• ACCN will exclusively televise 34 men’s and women’s games this spring, including 19 men’s games, marking the most national television coverage ever for ACC men’s and women’s lacrosse. 
• ACCN will debut a new dedicated night of live lacrosse programming – Thursdays – starting March 5. Overall, four men’s and three women’s games will be featured on Thursday nights throughout the spring.
• 10 ACC men's lacrosse games will air on ESPNU, culminating with the ACC Championship Game on April 26.
