Noting ACC Women's Lacrosse
• Conference play begins this weekend with a trio of games, including a pair with ranked teams squaring off (UNC-Virginia, Duke-Notre Dame).
• Seven ACC teams are ranked in at least one of the polls. The ACC has the most teams of any conference in both the IWLCA and Inside Lacrosse polls.
• North Carolina is ranked No. 1 by Inside Lacrosse and the IWLCA again this week.
• Four ACC programs are among the latest IWLCA and IL Top 10 (No. 1 North Carolina, No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 4 Syracuse, No. 7 Virginia). 
• UNC attacker Scottie Rose Growney was the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, while Syracuse goalie Asa Goldstock is ACC Defensive Player of the Week.
• 14 ACC players were named to the Tewaraaton Watch List – most of any league.
• Five ACC teams rank among the top 11 nationally in scoring offense: North Carolina (2nd, 20.0 gpg), Duke, (3rd, 19.7), Notre Dame (4th, 19.3), Syracuse (6th, 18.2) and Virginia Tech (11th, 16.3).
• North Carolina boasts the nation's top defense, allowing just 5.3 goals per game. Virginia Tech ranks third (6.3), Syracuse seventh (7.2) and Notre Dame eighth (7.3).
• ACC players comprise eight of the top nine nationally in points, led by Virginia Tech's Kayla Frank (36) and Syracuse's Emily Hawryschuk (33).
