Spalding Named Game Ball Provider of 2021 ACC Basketball Tournaments

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference and Spalding, the largest basketball equipment supplier in the world, have entered an agreement to make Spalding the game ball provider of the 2021 Atlantic Coast Conference men’s and women’s basketball tournaments.

The iconic basketball brand continues its 25-year partnership with the ACC as the practice and game ball for the men’s tournament. This year will mark the first year the partnership extends to the women’s tournament as well.

“The ACC has a long history with Spalding and we’re pleased to extend our partnership across both the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments,” said ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips. “We look forward to two entertaining weeks of basketball in Greensboro as we celebrate our student-athletes and coaches.”

“The Spalding TF-1000 Legacy has been a part of many historic ACC basketball moments, and we’re looking forward to watching the tremendous student athletes make new ones this year,” said Matt Murphy, Vice President of Spalding.

Both tournaments will be held at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. The women’s basketball tournament is scheduled for March 3-7 and the men’s tournament is March 9-13. Teams will use Spalding TF-1000 Legacy basketballs in all practices and games throughout the two weeks of action at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Fans will have the unique experience of purchasing the Spalding TF-1000 Legacy game ball with the laser engraved ACC artwork on Spalding.com for a limited time starting on March 3rd.
