2023 NCAA Tournament Bracket
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Clemson and Notre Dame will compete for a national championship in the NCAA Men's College Cup at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky, with semifinal matches on Friday and the championship match on Monday.
No. 9 seed Clemson faces off against No. 5 West Virginia at 6 p.m., and No. 2 Notre Dame battles Oregon State at 8:30 p.m. The championship match will be contested at 6 p.m. Monday. ESPNU has the broadcast of all three matches in the NCAA Men's College Cup.
This is the fifth straight season in which two ACC teams have advanced to the NCAA Men's College Cup. ACC teams have won the last two NCAA titles, with Clemson in 2021 and Syracuse in 2022.
The ACC has had at least one team in the College Cup in 22 of the last 23 seasons.
Clemson is making its 10th College Cup appearance, while Notre Dame is appearing in the College Cup for the third time. The Tigers have won three championships (1984, 1986, 2021), while the Fighting Irish claimed the 2013 NCAA Championship.

Noting ACC Men's Soccer
• ACC teams have won 19 NCAA men’s soccer championships, including 10 since 2001. Syracuse is the reigning champion after capturing its first national championship last season. Clemson won the crown in 2021.
• Seven current ACC programs have won at least one national championship, the most of any conference.
• Eleven active league programs have reached the Men's College Cup. Sixty-five ACC teams have reached the Men's College Cup all-time.
• Virginia has won seven NCAA men's soccer championships, which is third most all-time. Clemson (3), North Carolina (2), Duke (1), Notre Dame (1), Syracuse (1) and Wake Forest (1) also have won titles.
• Five active ACC head coaches have won national championships as a head coach: Mike Noonan (Clemson), Carlos Somoano (UNC), Jay Vidovich (Pitt), Ian McIntyre (Syracuse) and George Gelnovatch (Virginia).
• Nine ACC teams earned bids to the 2023 NCAA Championship, most of any conference in this tournament.
• The ACC also claimed six of the 16 national seeds: Notre Dame (2), North Carolina (3), Virginia (7), ACC champion Clemson (9), Wake Forest (10) and Duke (15).
• All nine ACC programs that qualified for the tournament hosted at least one game.
• This marks the 11th straight season in which the ACC placed the most teams in the tournament and the 23rd consecutive season that at least five league teams earned a bid.
• Four ACC players were selected as semifinalists for the 2023 Hermann Trophy: F Forster Ajago (Duke), GK Bryan Dowd (Notre Dame), F Ousmane Sylla (Clemson) and D Garrison Tubbs (Wake).
• Clemson won the 2023 ACC Championship on Nov. 12, outlasting North Carolina following a penalty-kick shootout in Cary, N.C. It was CU's 16th ACC crown, including its fifth tournament title.
• Clemson's Ousmane Sylla was named the tournament MVP after recording three goals and two assists in the Tigers' run to the title.
• In the final NCAA RPI, nine ACC teams are among the top 30: Notre Dame (3), North Carolina (5), Virginia (9), Wake Forest (15), Clemson (17), Duke (20), Louisville (21), Syracuse (27) and Pitt (30).
• Eight ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches poll, the most of any conference. Notre Dame is No. 4 and is followed by Wake Forest (6), North Carolina (7), Duke (8), Virginia (11), Clemson (14), Syracuse (18) and Louisville (20).
• Nine ACC teams have been ranked for at least one week this season.
• ACC teams finished 58-16-18 (72.8% win pct.) in non-conference action – the most wins and best win percentage of any conference.
• The final cross-divisional games were played during the second-to-last weekend of the season. Since the ACC went to the division format in 2014, Atlantic and Coastal teams finished in a dead heat, 72-72-24, although Coastal teams held a 10-5-3 edge this season.
