GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - Syracuse scored a 75-72 upset of No. 23 NC State to highlight a strong slate of midweek games in ACC men's basketball action this week. Five of the seven games were determined by eight points or fewer.

Pitt and Virginia remain locked in a tie at the top of the standings following their wins this week. The Panthers won their sixth in a row, 77-58, over Boston College, while Virginia prevailed at Louisville, 61-58. Miami notched a key road win on Monday, winning at North Carolina, 80-72. The Hurricanes sit a half game behind Pitt and UVA in the standings.
