CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina’s Lachlan McNeil was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Wrestler of the Week following his performances last week between Jan. 8-14.
 
Over three dual matches for the Tar Heels, McNeil went 3-0 at 141 pounds, with all three victories coming by way of a major decision.
 
McNeil started his week with a 15-3 major decision win over No. 12 CJ Composto of Penn, giving the redshirt sophomore his ninth win over a nationally-ranked opponent this season.
 
On Saturday, in a tri-meet at home with Brown and Harvard, McNeil was dominant on the mat with a 17-3 major decision win over Ian Oswalt of Brown and a 17-4 major decision victory over Jaden Pepe of Harvard.
