Week 14 Game Times and TV Networks Announced

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners announced the following football game times and networks for the final week of the regular season, Week 14, November 29-30.
 
Friday, November 29
  • Stanford at San Jose State – 4 p.m. ET on CBS – as previously announced
  • Georgia Tech at Georgia – 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC – as previously announced
 
Saturday, November 30
  • South Carolina at Clemson – Noon ET on ESPN
  • Duke at Wake Forest – Noon ET on ACC Network
  • Louisville at Kentucky – Noon ET on SEC Network
  • Pitt at Boston College – 3 p.m. ET on The CW
  • Miami at Syracuse – 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
  • California at SMU – 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2
  • NC State at North Carolina – 3:30 p.m. ET on ACC Network
  • Florida at Florida State – 7 p.m. ET or 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 – exact time designation to be determined following the games on 11/23

ACC Football Notes
Through Week 12 of the 2024 season:
  • ACC has nine bowl-eligible teams – Miami, Pitt, Clemson, SMU, Duke, Louisville, Syracuse, Georgia Tech and North Carolina – tied for the second-most among all FBS conferences heading into Week 13.
  • The ACC is 43-17 overall in non-conference play and has played more non-conference games against P4 opponents, including Notre Dame, than any of the other Power 4 leagues.
    • The 43 non-conference wins are the second-most among all FBS conferences.
  • The ACC has eight non-conference wins versus fellow Power 4 foes, also the second-most among all FBS Conferences.
    • Five of the eight P4 non-conference wins have come on the road.
    • The ACC has a winning record versus both the Big Ten and Big 12.
    • No other conference has more wins against the SEC than the ACC.
  • The ACC has won 40 games decided by one touchdown or fewer (eight points or fewer), the most wins of any conference.
  • The ACC has won 23 games decided by four points or fewer, the most of any FBS conference.
  • This year, 28 of the 55 ACC league games to date have been decided by less than eight points (51 percent).
  • ACC teams have combined to record 40 true road wins and a winning percentage of 56 percent, both the best of any FBS conference.     
    • The ACC is the only conference with a winning record in road games in the season.
  • There were four unbeaten ACC teams in conference play entering the month of November, the most in league history.
    • The last time there were even three unbeaten teams in ACC play entering November was 1967 with South Carolina, Clemson and NC State.
 
This Week in Week 13
  • Four ACC teams were ranked in the most recent CFP rankings (November 12) last week, tied for the second-most of any conference.
    • Miami (No. 9), SMU (No. 14), Louisville (No. 19) and Clemson (No. 20).
  • Five ACC teams were ranked in the first CFP rankings (November 5), also the second-most of any conference.
    • The ACC’s five teams ranked in the first CFP rankings were the most since the first ranking back in 2022.
  • Three ACC teams are ranked in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll (November 17) this week.
    • AP Poll - Miami (No. 11), SMU (No. 13), and Clemson (No. 17) – five other teams receiving votes in Syracuse, Louisville, Pitt, Duke and Georgia Tech.
    • Coaches Poll – Miami (No. 10), SMU (No. 12), and Clemson (No. 16) – four other teams receiving votes in Syracuse, Duke, Pitt and Louisville.
  • All 17 ACC teams will be in action in Week 13, which will consist of seven league games and three non-conference games.
 
The ACC is the Conference of Quarterbacks (QBs) once again this season:
  • The ACC is the only conference with multiple quarterbacks ranked in the top five nationally in total yards per game, passing yards per game, passing touchdowns and points responsible for on the season.
  • Miami’s Cam Ward has been named a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award, Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award and the Walter Camp Player of Year award, while also being named one of five finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
  • Clemson’s Cade Klubnik was named a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award and the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award, as well as earning a spot on the Top 10 list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
  • SMU’s Kevin Jennings was named a semifinalist for the 2024 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award.
  • Pitt’s Eli Holstein was named a semifinalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year.
  • Seven QBs were named to the Davey O’Brien QB Class of 2024 – the most of any conference.
  • Six QBs were named to the 2024 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Top 25 watch list – tied for the most of any conference.
  • Seven QBs have thrown 17 touchdown passes or more this season – the second-most of any conference.
    • Four QBs rank in the top 10 nationally in passing touchdowns – Cam Ward (Miami) – 32; Cade Klubnik (Clemson) – 26; Kyle McCord (Syracuse) – 24; and Maalik Murphy (Duke) – 22.
  • Six QBs are ranked in the top 30 of FBS in total yards per game – the most of any conference.
    • ACC has two of the top four players nationally in total yards of offense per game.
    • Cam Ward (Miami) is second nationally with 367.6 total yards of offense per game.
    • Kyle McCord (Syracuse) is fourth nationally at 343.1 total yards of offense per game.
  • Six QBs, including the top two players nationally, are ranked in the top 30 of FBS in passing yards per game – the second-most of any conference.
    • Cam Ward (Miami) leads the nation with an average of 349.4 passing yards per game.
    • Kyle McCord (Syracuse) ranks second in the nation with an average of 347.6 passing yards per game.
  • Five QBs, including the top two, are ranked in the top 25 of FBS in total passing yards – tied for the most of any conference.
    • Cam Ward (Miami) leads the nation with 3,494 passing yards this season.
    • Kyle McCord (Syracuse) ranks second in the nation with 3,476 passing yards this season.
  • Five QBs are ranked in the top 30 of FBS in passing efficiency – tied for the most of any conference.
  • Four QBs are ranked in the top 25 of FBS in points responsible for – tied for the second-most of any conference.
  • Four QBs are ranked in the top 30 of FBS in completion percentage – tied for the second-most of any conference.
  • Four QBs are ranked in the top 25 of ESPN’s Total QBR, including two in the top 10.
    • Cam Ward (Miami) leads the nation with an 89.4 Total QBR.
  • ACC had the most of any conferences on the following QB preseason watch lists: Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (13); Maxwell Award preseason watch list (10); and Davey O’Brien Award (8).
  • The ACC had the top-ranked group of quarterback transfers in 2024 by CBS Sports.
  • Since 2018, the ACC has had at least one quarterback drafted in the first round in five different drafts — the only conference to do that.

  • The ACC has four of the top 20 ranked players in all of FBS in total tackles-for-loss this season, including two in the top five – Kyle Louis (Pitt) – 14.5 and Antwaun Powell-Ryland (Virginia Tech) – 14.5.

  • The ACC has seven players that rank in the top 35 in all of FBS in all-purpose yards per game, including three in the top 10.
  • Seven of the top 25 punt returners in yards per punt return in all of FBS this season are from the ACC, including two in the top 10.
  • Eight different players from the ACC have returned a punt for a touchdown – tied for the most of any conference.
  • Three of the top 25 kick returners in yards per kickoff return in all of FBS this season are from the ACC.
  • Three different players from the ACC have returned a kickoff for a touchdown – Caullin Lacy (Louisville), Nohl Williams (Cal) and Samuel Singleton Jr. (Florida State).
 
ACC Features Elite Coaching Leadership:
  • Four ACC head coaches were named to both the 2024 Dodd Trophy Midseason Watch List and the Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year Watch List. 
  • Two of the three active coaches in the country who won a national title reside in the ACC (Mack Brown and Dabo Swinney).
  • Four current ACC head coaches have recorded over 100 career wins at the collegiate level (only 30 active FBS coaches have reached this mark).
  • Among active FBS head coaches, the ACC has nine coaches that rank among the top 50 in the nation in career winning percentage.

ACC in the first decade of the CFP:
  • The ACC has won the second-most national titles.
  • The ACC is one of only two conferences with a .500 or better winning percentage in the CFP.
  • Three different teams have reached the CFP in Clemson (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020), Florida State (2014), and Notre Dame (2020, played as a full ACC member).
  • Second-best record overall in the CFP by conference (ACC is 6-6 overall and only behind SEC).
  • In the final CFP top 25 rankings over the last four years there are only seven programs that have been in each – Clemson and NC State are included from the ACC.
    • No conference has more than two teams that can state that claim.
  • The ACC is the only conference to have every team ranked at least once in the first 10 years of the CFP rankings (2014-2023).
  • 16 of the 17 current ACC programs have been ranked in the CFP rankings over the first 10 years (2014-2023).
