CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Duke senior guard Reigan Richardson and Florida State junior guard Ta’Niya Latson shared Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week honors, while Louisville guard Tajianna Roberts was named the ACC Rookie of the Week for games played from November 25-December 1.

ACC women’s basketball weekly awards are voted on by the league’s Blue Ribbon Panel.

Richardson averaged 23.3 points and shot 53.8 percent (28-for-52) from the field in three victories last week, headlined by wins at the Ball Dawgs Classic over No. 9 Kansas State and No. 8 Oklahoma. After scoring 16 points in the win over the Wildcats on Wednesday, the Charlotte, North Carolina, native tallied a career-high 35 points and seven assists in Duke’s win over the Sooners on Friday. The 35 points set the Duke record for the most points scored in a win over a top-10 opponent. On Sunday, Richardson tallied 19 points to lead the Blue Devils to a 77-61 win over Columbia.

Latson averaged 25.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists to lead Florida State to three non-conference victories and the Paradise Jam title. The Miami, Florida, native finished 30-for-57 (52.6 percent) from the field and attempted just seven 3-pointers on the week. Latson began her Paradise Jam campaign on Thursday with her first double-double of her collegiate career with 30 points and 11 rebounds in a 70-62 win over Texas Tech. After scoring 21 points in a 97-66 win over Missouri State on Friday, the guard became just the fourth Seminole to record a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 95-54 victory over Gonzaga. Latson currently leads the country in scoring at 26.1 points per game.

Roberts posted 13 points and a team-best four steals in a road win at Colorado on Saturday. The San Diego, California, native finished 5-for-10 from the field, as her afternoon was highlighted by five straight fourth-quarter points that began a 16-0 run by the Cardinals, pushing their lead to 72-57 with four minutes to play. Roberts has scored in double figures in six of her first seven games this season.
