ACC Unveils 2024-25 Women’s Basketball Conference-Opening Matchups

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TheACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference today announced its conference-opening matchups for each of the league’s 18 teams to begin the 2024-25 women’s basketball season. Each of the nine ACC games runs from Sunday, December 8, through Sunday, December 15.

The full conference schedule, including most game times and television designations, will be announced on Tuesday, September 24, from 7-8 p.m. ET on ACC Network.

SMU will play its first ACC game on Sunday, December 8 when it travels to Florida State for a 2 p.m. ET tipoff on ACC Network. Fellow ACC newcomers California and Stanford will renew their rivalry by facing off in an ACC opener in Berkeley, California, on Friday, December 13. Defending ACC champion Notre Dame opens its conference campaign at Syracuse for a noon ET tipoff on ACCN.

In addition, ESPN announced Monday the game times and networks for the 2024 SEC/ACC Women’s Basketball Challenge. The second iteration of the event features 16 games from Tuesday, Dec. 4 through Wednesday, Dec. 5, airing across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network.
