Stanford’s Ganne Named ACC Women’s Golfer of the Month

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Stanford senior Megha Ganne has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Golfer of the Month for October.

  • Claimed medalist honors at the Stanford Intercollegiate, finishing 10-under (203) and leading the Cardinal to the team title.
  • Fired a final-round 66 (-5), including a birdie on her final hole, to secure the one-shot win.
  • Tied for the fifth at the Nanea Invitational with an 8-under 211 in a field featuring 13 top-50 players.
  • After finishing the opening round at 2-over, she made up 10 strokes in the final two rounds, including a final-round 67 (-6).
ACC Women’s Golf Notes
  • Through the first two months of the 2025-26 season, ACC teams have won 13 team titles, headlined by Boston College, Clemson, Stanford and Wake Forest capturing two titles apiece.
  • Eight different ACC players have won medalist honors this season. Stanford and Wake Forest each have two different players with individual titles.
  • Headlined by No. 1 Stanford, four ACC teams earned spots on the WGCA Coaches Poll. Following the Cardinal are No. 4 Wake Forest, No. 14 Duke and No. 23 North Carolina.
  • Stanford is also No. 1 in the latest Scoreboard Team Rankings, followed by No. 5 Wake Forest, No. 14 North Carolina and No. 16 Duke.
  • Seven ACC players are in the top 25 of the Scoreboard Individual Rankings, led by Ganne at No. 3.
