CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – NC State junior forward Jade Bordeleau and North Carolina junior forward Olivia Thomas have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Offensive Players of the Week, while Wolfpack senior goalkeeper Olivia Pratapas was selected as the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for matches played between September 29-October 5.
CO-OFFENSIVE – Jade Bordeleau, Jr., F, NC State (Terrabonne, Quebec, Canada)
- Scored both goals in the victory over No. 12 Wake Forest on Thursday.
- Converted a penalty in the ninth minute and netted the eventual game-winner in the 10th minute.
- The win marked NC State’s first ranked win since 2021.
- Currently leads the team with eight goals this season, tied for the most by a Wolfpack player since 2022.
CO-OFFENSIVE – Olivia Thomas, Jr., F, North Carolina (Grosse Pointe, Michigan)
- Contributed to five of the team’s six goals last week.
- Registered a goal and an assist in Thursday’s 3-1 win against Boston College.
- Scored a goal and handed out two assists in a 3-1 victory over Pitt on Sunday.
- Currently ranks second in the ACC and fifth nationally with 11 goals this season.
DEFENSIVE – Olivia Pratapas, Sr., GK, NC State (Clemmons, North Carolina)
- Stopped eight shots in Thursday’s 2-1 victory over No. 12 Wake Forest.
- Seven of her eight saves came in the second half to help secure the win.
- Her eight saves marked a season high and are the most by an ACC goalkeeper in a conference win this season.
Women’s Soccer Notes
- ACC teams closed the non-conference portion of the regular season with 81 victories, tied for the most among all conferences.
- A nation-best eight ACC teams are currently in the top 25 of the latest RPI.
- ACC teams own a 15-9-7 (.597) record against peer Power Four conference opponents this season.
- Four ACC teams are in the top 10 nationally in total goals, headlined by No. 1 Stanford (44 goals) and No. 2 Louisville (42).
