CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Six ACC quarterbacks have been named to the prestigious Top 25 list for the 2025 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, as announced this week by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, Inc.
 
Selected from an initial 58-man Watch List, the Top 25 represents the very best in college football—quarterbacks who not only deliver elite performances on the field, but who also lead with integrity, character, and commitment to academic success. The Golden Arm Award is presented annually to the nation’s top senior or upperclassman quarterback who is on track to graduate with their class, embodying the complete student-athlete experience.
 
Now celebrating its 39th year, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award continues to honor the legacy of one of football’s greatest leaders. Known for his toughness, humility, and excellence, Unitas set a standard that today’s top quarterbacks strive to match. Presented in partnership with A. O. Smith Corporation, the award recognizes players whose impact goes beyond stats—champions in the classroom, the locker room, and their communities.
