CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The ACC will be well-represented in Sunday’s championship matches at the 2025 NCAA Men’s Division I Singles and Doubles Championships, as SMU’s Trevor Svajda advanced to the singles final and Virginia’s duo of Mans Dahlberg and Dylan Dietrich earned a spot in the doubles title match.
Both championship matches are set for Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
This year marks the second of a two-year plan in which the singles and doubles championships are held in the fall, while the team championships remain in the spring.
Trevor Svajda, SMU – Road to the Singles Final
- Defeated Jeremy Jin (Florida) 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 in the Round of 64
- Beat Amirkhamza Nasridinov (Auburn) 6-3, 2-6, 6-0 in the Round of 32
- Upset No. 5 seed Kenta Miyoshi (Illinois) 6-2, 6-4 in the Round of 16
- Defeated Petar Jovanovic (Mississippi State) 6-3, 6-2 in the Quarterfinals
- Shut out Martin Borisiouk (NC State) 6-0, 6-0 in the Semifinals
- Will face Columbia’s Michael Zheng — the 2024 NCAA Singles Champion — in Sunday’s final
Mans Dahlberg & Dylan Dietrich, Virginia – Road to the Doubles Final
- Defeated Johan Alexander Rodriguez and Orel Kimhi (Oklahoma) 6-3, 6-1 in the Round of 32
- Upset No. 1 seeds Benito Sanchez Martinez and Petar Jovanovic (Mississippi State) 6-3, 7-6 (3) in the Round of 16
- Beat Aidan Kim and Bryce Nakashima (Ohio State) 6-7 (4), 7-6 (5), 10-5 in the Quarterfinals
- Defeated Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson (Florida) 6-1, 6-4 in the Semifinals
- Will meet Ohio State’s Nikita Filin and Brandon Carpico in the championship match
