CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Duke, NC State and Stanford will compete in the round of 16 in the 2025 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship on Sunday, November 30.
Duke starts the ACC's day with a 4 p.m. ET contest at No. 14 seed Akron. No. 15 seed NC State plays host to UNC Greensboro at 6 p.m. ET, and No. 12 seed Stanford entertains Washington at 8 p.m. ET.
Each of the games will be streamed on ESPN+.
The NCAA Quarterfinals will be contested on Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, with teams then advancing to the NCAA College Cup, which will be played December 12 and 15 in Cary, North Carolina.
Noting ACC Men's Soccer
• Duke, NC State and Stanford advanced through the second round of the 2025 NCAA Championship and will compete in the round of 16 on Sunday. The ACC has the most teams remaining of any conference.
• Nine ACC teams earned berths in the 2025 NCAA Championship, including four teams among the 16 seeded teams. Both totals are most of any league.
• Virginia (2), SMU (5), Stanford (12) and NC State (15) earned national seeds as well as first-round byes. Clemson, Duke, North Carolina, Notre Dame and Syracuse also picked up bids.
• Eight ACC teams started the tournament on their home pitches.
• This marks the 13th straight season in which the ACC placed the most teams in the tournament and the 25th consecutive season that at least five league teams earned a bid.
• The ACC’s total of nine bids is tied for the second most in tournament history, matching the league’s totals in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2023 and 2025 and one shy of the conference’s total in 2019.
• ACC teams have won 20 NCAA men’s soccer championships, with 11 since 2001, including three of the last four (Clemson 2021, Syracuse 2022, Clemson 2023).
• Eight active ACC programs have won at least one national championship, the most of any conference. The 15 active ACC schools have combined for 20 titles.
• Virginia has won seven NCAA men's soccer championships, which is third most all-time. Clemson (4), Stanford (3), North Carolina (2), Duke (1), Notre Dame (1), Syracuse (1) and Wake Forest (1) also have won titles.
