CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Pitt’s Olivia Babcock and Miami’s Flormarie Heredia Colon shared Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week laurels, while North Carolina’s Lauren Schutter was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week. Miami’s Ariana Rodriguez and Pitt’s Brooke Mosher shared ACC Setter of the Week honors, while North Carolina’s Sienna Cozza was named ACC Freshman of the Week for matches played October 27-November 2.
 
ACC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Olivia Babcock, Jr., Right Side, Pitt (Los Angeles, California)

• Totaled 55 kills, an average of 6.88 kills per set, in wins over Duke and No. 21 North Carolina.
• Broke her own program record of kills in a single match with 45 on Sunday against North Carolina (originally set on October 19 against Louisville with 41).
• This marks her second 40+ kill match of the season, making her the only player in the NCAA to reach that mark this season, and the highest kill total in DI Volleyball since Jordan Thompon’s (UConn) 50 kill-match on November 3, 2019.
• Earned her fifth ACC Offensive Player of the Week Award this season, marking the most ACC Offensive Player of the Week awards won in a single season.

ACC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Flormarie Heredia Colon, Sr., Outside Hitter, Miami (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic)

• Totaled 56 kills, an average of 8.00 kills per set, in wins over Boston College and Syracuse.
• Hit .410 on the week with a weekend-high .487 hitting percentage over Boston College.
• Recorded 34 kills against Syracuse, the most in a four-set match in program history.
• Leads the NCAA in total points (544.5), points per set (6.64) and kills per set (5.56).
• Earned her fourth ACC Offensive Player of the Week Award this season.

             
ACC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lauren Schutter, R-Jr., Middle Blocker, North Carolina (Alma, Kansas)

• Totaled 18 total blocks, an average of 1.80 blocks per set, in a win over No. 7 SMU and a five-set setback to No. 4 Pitt.
• Recorded a career-best and team-high 13 blocks against the Panthers, marking the third-most blocks in a single match in program history.
• Led the team with five blocks in the upset win over No. 7 SMU.
• Totaled 16.0 points, an average of 1.60 points per set, in the two contests.

ACC CO-SETTER OF THE WEEK
Ariana Rodriguez, R-So., Setter, Miami (New York, New York)

• Recorded 86 assists, an average of 12.29 assists per set, in victories over Boston College and Syracuse.
• Registered 16 digs and nine kills on the week.
• Totaled eight service aces in the two contests.
• Recorded 17.5 points, an average of 2.50 points per set. 
   

ACC CO-SETTER OF THE WEEK
Brooke Mosher, R-Sr., Setter, Pitt (Waterloo, Wisconsin)

• Recorded 87 assists, an average of 10.88 assists per set, in victories over Duke and No. 21 North Carolina.
• Posted a match-high 30 assists, seven digs and three aces in the sweep over Duke.
• Then registered a match-high 57 assists, 14 digs, four kills and two blocks in the victory over No. 21 North Carolina, marking her sixth double-double of the season.
• Claimed her third ACC Setter of the Week Award this season.

 
ACC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Sienna Cozza, Fr., Setter, North Carolina (Mars, Pennsylvania)

• Recorded 58 assists, an average of 5.80 assists per set, in victories over No. 7 SMU and a five-set setback to No. 4 Pitt.
• Registered 15 digs, an average of 1.50 digs per set.
• Totaled a career-high 28 assists in the upset win over No. 7 SMU.
• Then registered a career-high 30 assists against No. 4 Pitt, while tying her career-high eight digs.
