SMU will head north to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, for its first-ever matchup at Boston College. The Mustangs hold a 2-1 edge in the all-time series, including last year’s win in Dallas—the lone ACC meeting between the teams.

SMU enters the game riding momentum from a 26-20 overtime victory over then-No. 10 Miami, the program’s first top-10 win since 1983. The Mustangs’ high-powered offense has produced 11 touchdown drives under two minutes and has scored 24 or more points in eight of nine games this season, while their defense leads the nation with 22 takeaways.

Boston College looks to snap an eight-game skid and secure its first ACC win of the year after a hard-fought loss to then-No. 12 Notre Dame last week. The Eagles have rotated quarterbacks Dylan Lonergan (1,423 yards, 9 TDs) and Grayson James (908 yards, 7 TDs) the last few weeks. Wide receiver Lewis Bond continues his climb up the BC career receptions list, now with 189 catches—just 11 shy of Zay Flowers’ program record of 200.

Syracuse and Miami will meet for the second straight year after the Orange stunned the Hurricanes 42-38 last November in the JMA Wireless Dome. Before that matchup, Miami had won six consecutive games over Syracuse as conference rivals in both the Big East and ACC.

Running back Will Nixon leads the Orange with a reception in 13 consecutive games, the longest active streak on the team. True freshmen Joseph Filardi and Byron Washington each made their first career starts last week against North Carolina at quarterback and offensive line, respectively. Syracuse has seen 19 players make their first collegiate start this season.

Miami enters the game coming off a 26-20 overtime loss at SMU. True freshman wide receiver Malachi Toney leads all FBS freshmen in receptions (52), receiving yards (632), receiving yards per game (79.0) and receiving touchdowns (3). Defensively, the Hurricanes boast one of the nation’s top units, ranking third in rushing defense (79.3 ypg), ninth in scoring defense (15.6 ppg) and 12th in total defense (285.1 ypg), led by standouts Rueben Bain Jr. and Ahkeem Mesidor.

Saturday’s game will mark the fifth all-time meeting between Duke and UConn, with the Blue Devils winning the last two matchups after the Huskies took victories in 2004 and 2007. Duke claimed a 26-21 win last season and earned a decisive 41-7 road victory in 2023.

The Blue Devils are coming off a thrilling 46-45 win at Clemson, their first road victory over the Tigers since 1980. Quarterback Darian Mensah and receiver Cooper Barkate have powered a Duke offense that ranks among the nation’s best—fourth in passing offense (324.3 ypg), 13th in yards per play (6.92), 14th in points per minute (1.25), 18th in total offense (460.3 ypg) and 25th in scoring (35.4 ppg). Defensively, Duke ranks seventh nationally in tackles-for-loss per game (7.6).

UConn enters the matchup at 6-3 overall and a perfect 4-0 at home. The Huskies are 1-1 against ACC opponents this season, falling 27-20 in overtime at Syracuse and defeating Boston College 38-23. In last week’s win over UAB, wide receiver Skyler Bell had a standout performance with eight receptions for 149 yards and three touchdowns, tying the UConn single-season record with 11 touchdown catches.

Saturday’s matchup between Stanford and North Carolina will feature a rare clash of former NFL head coaches, as Frank Reich leads the Cardinal against Bill Belichick’s Tar Heels. Stanford holds a 2-1 edge in the all-time series, with this being the first meeting between the two programs as ACC opponents.

The game in Chapel Hill marks Stanford’s final road contest of the season, as the Cardinal look to snap a 10-game road losing streak dating back to last year. Wide receiver CJ Williams continues to shine, hauling in seven passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns against Pitt last week—his fourth 100-yard performance of the season.

North Carolina enters the game fresh off a 27-10 road win at Syracuse, its first ACC victory of the year, after outscoring the Orange 21-0 in the second half and dominating the yardage battle, 425-147. Freshman running back Demon June delivered a breakout performance with 182 all-purpose yards (101 rushing, 81 receiving), highlighted by a 63-yard touchdown catch to open the second half. On defense, Melkart Abou Jaoude led the way with six tackles, 2.0 sacks, 2.5 tackles-for-loss and a forced fumble to seal the Tar Heels’ strong performance.

Virginia holds a 35-17 advantage in the all-time series against Wake Forest, snapping the Demon Deacons’ five-game win streak with a 31-30 victory in Winston-Salem last season.

Wake Forest enters this year’s matchup coming off a road loss at Florida State, its only defeat away from home in 2025. Quarterback Robby Ashford returned to action in that game, throwing for 93 yards and adding 59 on the ground.

The Deacons’ defense ranks second in the ACC in scoring defense (18.9 ppg), allowing 30 or more points only three times this season. Defensive back Nick Andersen continues to anchor the defense with a team-leading 68 tackles, including eight in the win over SMU and 11 each against FSU and NC State.

Virginia rides a seven-game winning streak—the fifth-longest in the FBS—and is a perfect 5-0 at Scott Stadium, marking the most home wins under Tony Elliott and the program’s best home mark since 2020. The Cavaliers feature the ACC’s No. 3 scoring offense (37.1 ppg) and have topped 30 points in seven of nine games this season.

California and Louisville will meet for the first time on Saturday as both teams look to build momentum entering the final stretch of the season.

California is seeking its sixth win and bowl eligibility for the third straight week. True freshman quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele has thrown for 200 or more yards in each of his first nine collegiate games—one of only three FBS freshmen ever to do so—while running back Kendrick Raphael has been on a tear, scoring six touchdowns over the Bears’ last two games and finding the end zone in five straight contests for a total of nine rushing scores during that span.

Louisville aims for its third 5-1 start in ACC play—and its second under head coach Jeff Brohm—after earning a 28-16 comeback win at Virginia Tech last week, the Cardinals’ fourth come-from-behind victory of the year. The Louisville defense shut out the Hokies in the second half, extending its remarkable streak to 49 consecutive wins when holding opponents scoreless after halftime. The Cardinals continue to dominate defensively, allowing just 280.6 yards per game and keeping opponents under 250 yards in four contests this season.

Florida State and Clemson will square off for the 38th time on Saturday, with the Seminoles holding a narrow 21-16 advantage in the all-time series.
Florida State enters the matchup coming off a dominant 42-7 win over Wake Forest, powered by five rushing touchdowns. Wide receiver Duce Robinson shined in that victory with five receptions for 148 yards, marking his third game this season with at least 140 receiving yards—tied for the most in the nation. Defensively, Earl Little Jr. has been a difference-maker for the Seminoles, recording an interception in three consecutive games.

Clemson looks to rebound after a 46-45 home loss to Duke in ACC play. The Tigers’ offense showed explosive potential in that contest, posting season highs with 560 total yards, 7.8 yards per play and 45 points—their most since scoring 51 against The Citadel in November 2024. Quarterback Cade Klubnik led the charge, completing 27-of-36 passes for a career-best 385 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
