CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Atlantic Coast Conference football is set to dominate Friday nights this fall, with a league-record 12 games scheduled on Fridays, with today’s announcement of Louisville’s home contest versus James Madison in Week 2 moving to Friday, September 5. The specific game times and television networks will be announced at a later date.
No other conference has more scheduled Friday games than the ACC.
The ACC's first Friday night game will feature Georgia Tech facing Colorado in the season opener on Friday, August 29. Additionally, it will mark the coaching debut of Jake Dickert as Wake Forest hosts Kennesaw State in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Weeks 2 and 3 include non-conference home games in James Madison at Louisville (September 5) and Colgate at Syracuse (September 12), while Week 5 features the first of seven conference games on Friday nights with Florida State at Virginia (September 26).
On October 17, during Week 8, Louisville will face Miami, while North Carolina will travel to California. In Week 9, California will make its first trip to Blacksburg, Virginia, to compete against Virginia Tech on October 24.
The Friday night contests continue in Week 10, as veteran coach Bill Belichick will lead his North Carolina team into the JMA Wireless Dome to take on second-year head coach Fran Brown and the Syracuse Orange on Halloween Night, October 31.
In Weeks 12 and 13, there are two Friday ACC matchups, as Clemson will face Louisville on November 14, and Florida State will visit NC State on November 21. Additionally, the “Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate” rivalry between Georgia and Georgia Tech is scheduled to kick off in Week 14 on Friday, November 28, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The 73rd season of ACC Football features a record number of league games on Friday nights, the continuation of traditional rivalries, and five consecutive days of ACC Football over Labor Day Weekend. It includes key conference matchups and boasts the most challenging non-conference schedule in the nation.
The season will culminate with the 2025 ACC Football Championship Game on Saturday, December 6, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
