Revuelta, Stanford Set Records on Final Day of Stroke Play at 2025 ACC Women’s Golf Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Capped off by a final-round 68 (-4), Stanford freshman Andrea Revuelta tied a conference record with a tournament-low 202 (-14) to win medalist honors at the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Golf Championship Thursday at Sedgefield Country Club.

Led by Revuelta’s record-setting performance, top-seeded Stanford tied a conference record finishing stroke play at 27-under (837), matching Virginia’s total set in 2015. All five Cardinal players finished in the top 20 of the final individual standings, with Meja Örtengren finishing in the top 10, tying for seventh at 1-under (215). With the first-place finish in stroke play, Stanford earned the No. 1 seed and a bye into the match-play semifinals.

Also earning a bye into the semifinals is Florida State, as the Seminoles finished tied with Virginia at 12-under (852). Applying the NCAA’s non-sudden death tie-break procedure, Florida State won the tiebreaker and will await its semifinal opponent. The Seminoles were led by Lottie Woad and Mirabel Ting, who tied for third at 8-under (208).

Virginia’s Amanda Sambach, who won medalist honors in the 2023 ACC Championship held at Sedgefield, tied for the lowest round of the day with a 7-under 65. Leading the round, Sambach finished as the tournament runner-up, marking her fourth consecutive top-three finish at the ACC Championship.

Wake Forest claimed the No. 4 seed in Friday’s match play semifinal after finishing 1-over (865). The Demon Deacons were led by Carolina Chacarra and Macy Pate who tied for ninth at even par (216). Wake Forest will link up with fifth-seeded North Carolina, which won a tiebreaker over sixth-seeded California after the teams tied for fifth. The Golden Bears will face off with Virginia, as the first round of match play is set for 7:30 a.m. ET.

ACC Network Extra will pick up the live coverage of the semifinals on Friday beginning at approximately 1:30 p.m. ET.
