Cameron Ward of Miami Selected No. 1 Overall in 2025 NFL Draft

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin – (theACC.com) – Miami quarterback Cameron Ward was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, April 24.
 
Ward is the first No. 1 overall pick from the Atlantic Coast Conference since quarterback Trevor Lawrence of Clemson went No. 1 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021.  
 
He is also the third No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft from Miami, joining quarterback Vinny Testaverde in 1987 (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and defensive tackle Russell Maryland in 1991 (Dallas Cowboys).
