2025 NCAA Tournament Bracket
 
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Syracuse advanced to the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship Weekend following its dramatic 19-18 win over No. 3 seed Princeton on Saturday, May 17, in Hempstead, New York. The No. 6 seed Orange advances to play No. 2 seed Maryland in the NCAA semifinals at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 24, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. ESPN2 has the broadcast.
 
The Syracuse-Maryland winner will face either No. 1 seed Cornell or No. 5 seed Penn State in the championship game at 1 p.m. ET on Monday, May 26, on ESPN.
 
At least one ACC team has advanced to the national semifinals in 50 of the 54 years in which the NCAA Tournament has been contested. The ACC owns 19 NCAA Championship in men’s lacrosse, and the five active ACC teams have combined for 27 national championships, including 11 of the last 16.
 
The Orange (13-5) earned a Championship Weekend spot for the 27th time in program history and the first since 2013. Joey Spallina scored four goals and assisted on four more goals as Syracuse won a back-and-forth battle. Owen Hiltz and Michael Leo also recorded hat tricks.
 
Notre Dame (9-5) dropped a 14-12 decision to No. 5 seed Penn State on Sunday in Annapolis, Maryland. Chris Kavanagh and Devon McLane recorded three goals each for the Fighting Irish.
