11 from ACC Chosen in 2025 Premier Lacrosse League Draft

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Eleven Atlantic Coast Conference men’s lacrosse student-athletes were chosen on Tuesday, May 6, in the 2025 Premier Lacrosse League Draft. The 11 ACC players selected were the most of any conference and represented over a third of the players selected in the draft.
 
Duke senior midfielder Andrew McAdorey was the ACC’s first player off the board, going No. 2 overall to the California Redwoods. Syracuse graduate midfielder Sam English was next off the board at No. 3, also to the Redwoods. They were two of five ACC players chosen by the Redwoods on Tuesday.
 
Syracuse senior attackman Owen Hiltz was the third ACC player to go in the first round, with the Carolina Chaos selecting him at No. 8.
 
Syracuse led all ACC schools with four selections, while Notre Dame had three and Duke and Virginia each had two.
 
Nine of the ACC’s PLL draftees will be playing in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this weekend.
