CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney has been named the 2025 Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Offensive Freshman of the Year, the organization announced on Thursday, January 15.
The freshman All-American has been a key contributor for the Hurricanes this season and will look to continue his standout play when No. 10 Miami faces No. 1 Indiana in the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The title game is set for Monday, January 19, at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hard Rock Stadium and will air on ESPN.
