CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Stanford senior forward Jasmine Aikey was selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference’s 2025 Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year and headlines the 2025 All-ACC Academic Women’s Soccer Team, which was announced Thursday by the league office.

The 2025 MAC Hermann Trophy winner, women’s collegiate soccer top honor, Aikey led the nation with 53 points and an ACC-best 21 goals, while adding 11 assists. The Palo Alto, California, native was also named the 2025 TopDrawerSoccer National Player of the Year and earned United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team honors. At the end of the regular season, she was selected to the All-ACC First Team and was tabbed the Tournament MVP of the 2025 Ally ACC Women’s Soccer Championship.

Away from the pitch, Aikey was named Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year by College Sports Communicators in December, becoming just the second player ever to win both the Hermann Trophy and the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year award in the same season.

A total of 179 student-athletes earned spots on the women’s soccer All-ACC Academic Team, including 18 student-athletes who were honored for the fourth time in their respective careers.

All 17 ACC programs are represented, with Louisville leading the way with 16 honorees. Stanford followed with 14, while SMU had 13 and Duke and Syracuse each had 12 honorees.

The ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards were established in September 2007 and are presented annually to the top junior or senior student-athlete in each sport. Candidates must have maintained a minimum 3.0 grade point average for their career, as well as a 3.0 GPA in each of the previous two semesters.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the previous two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative GPA for one’s academic career, while being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s athletic contests.
