CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – SMU senior guard Boopie Miller earned Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honors, and Duke forward Cameron Boozer notched the ACC Rookie of the Week distinction for games played from December 29-January 4, as announced Monday.
Boozer picked up his fifth ACC Rookie of the Week honor of the season.
ACC men’s basketball weekly honors are nominated by the respective schools and determined by a vote of an 18-member media panel.
Boopie Miller, Sr., G, SMU (Chicago, Illinois)
• Recorded game highs of 27 points and 12 assists with four rebounds and a steal in SMU’s 97-83 win over No. 12 North Carolina on Saturday.
• The 12 assists tied his career high, while he recorded just two turnovers.
• Hit 10-of-13 field goals, 3-of-5 3-pointers and 4-of-5 free throws in the ranked win.
Cameron Boozer, Fr., F, Duke (Miami, Florida)
• Averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.0 steals in ACC wins over Georgia Tech and Florida State.
• Shot 54.2% from the field, 42.9% from 3-point range and 77.8% from the free-throw line.
• Recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 26 points, 12 boards, two assists and two steals against Georgia Tech.
• Had 17 points, five rebounds, nine assists and four steals against FSU. His nine assists are the most in a game by a Blue Devil since 2023.
