Week 7 Saturday Preview: ACC Delivers Full Slate of Must-See Action

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Atlantic Coast Conference football enters Week 7 with a full nine-game Saturday slate on October 17, including seven conference matchups that will begin to shape the league standings. With five teams—Miami, Wake Forest, Pitt, SMU and Duke—carrying one loss or fewer into the weekend, each result carries added significance as the race for a spot in the ACC Football Championship Game continues.

The weekend is highlighted by several of the league’s most historical rivalries, including Florida State at No. 3 Miami, North Carolina at Duke in the Battle for the Victory Bell and Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech in the Battle of the Techs. Elsewhere, Virginia visits No. 24 SMU, Pitt travels to Boston College, Louisville heads to Syracuse and No. 21 Wake Forest closes the day at California, providing a full day of conference matchups from noon ET into the early hours of Sunday morning.
