CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Seven Atlantic Coast Conference student-athletes have been named semifinalists for the 2026 Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award, as announced by the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Selection Committee.
The ACC’s seven selections lead all conferences and represent seven different member institutions: Duke, Florida State, Miami, NC State, North Carolina, Pitt and Stanford. The ACC’s seven semifinalists account for more than one-third of the 20-player national semifinalist field.
The award recognizes the FBS player who has demonstrated exceptional leadership through courage, integrity and sportsmanship, both on and off the field. The semifinalists were selected by a subset of the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Selection Committee.
The ACC’s 2026 semifinalists are:
- Matt Craycraft, Duke, C
- Mark Fletcher Jr., Miami, RB
- Mason Heintschel, Pitt, QB
- Duce Robinson, Florida State, WR
- Isaiah Shirley, NC State, DT

Thirteen seniors, six juniors and one sophomore comprise this year’s semifinalist class. Three finalists will be announced Tuesday, December 15, with the winner to be recognized at the award ceremony at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on March 11, 2027.
The Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award, presented by Albertsons and Tom Thumb, is the first college football honor to focus primarily on a player’s leadership both on and off the field. The winner will receive a $10,000 contribution in his name to his school’s athletic scholarship fund from Jason Witten’s SCORE Foundation.
