CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The third week of the 2026-27 Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming & Diving season begins on Friday, October 9, as nine league programs compete across the country.
CSL action continues Friday with Match 4, featuring the No. 1 Virginia women and No. 10 Virginia men, No. 8 Louisville women and No. 12 Louisville men, No. 4 Tennessee women and No. 5 Tennessee men and No. 6 Michigan women and No. 8 Michigan men. The four-team meet begins at 6:30 p.m. ET in Knoxville, Tennessee, and will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Virginia sits atop the CSL standings after claiming the Match 2 win with 666 total points, while Stanford (550, 3-0) and NC State (554.5, 2-1) are ranked third and fourth, respectively. California is fifth with 543.5 points and a 2-1 record, while Louisville is sixth with 451.5 points and a 2-1 record.
Virginia is the preseason No. 1 team in the CSCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Top 25 Poll, followed by No. 2 Stanford, No. 7 California, No. 8 Louisville, No. 9 NC State, No. 16 North Carolina and No. 21 Duke. California leads the ACC contingent at No. 4 in the CSCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Top 25 Poll, followed by No. 7 NC State, No. 8 Stanford, No. 10 Virginia, No. 11 Virginia Tech, No. 12 Louisville, No. 19 North Carolina, No. 21 SMU and No. 23 Florida State.

- The Virginia women’s swimming program won its record sixth consecutive NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving championship at the 2026 NCAA Championships.
- The Stanford women’s swimming & diving program is the only program in the nation to finish in the top 10 in every NCAA Championship dating back to the 1975-76 season, most recently finishing as the runner-up in the 2026 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships.
- Virginia head coach Todd DeSorbo was named the George Haines Coach of the Year by the American Swimming Coaches Association for the second straight year.
- The 2027 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships will take place February 16-20, 2027, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
