2026 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships Set to Begin Sunday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The 2026 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships are set to begin on Sunday, February 15, at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

The diving competition will take place February 15-17, followed by the swimming events from February 17-21. All prelims and finals, including the early-heat finals on Saturday, February 21, will be broadcast live on ACCNX.
 
Reigning NCAA and ACC Women’s Swimming and Diving Champion Virginia remains the lone undefeated ACC women’s team entering the conference championships, while NC State is the lone undefeated team on the men’s side.
 
The ACC had eight teams in the most recent CSCAA Division I Women’s Top 25 Poll, headlined by Virginia in the No. 1 spot, Stanford at No. 2, California at No. 5, Louisville at No.7 and NC State at No. 8. In the most recent CSCAA Division I Men’s Top 25 Poll, the league featured eight teams with Stanford leading the way at No. 5, California at No. 6, NC State at No. 8 and Louisville at No. 10 to round out the Top 10.
 
All-session and single-session tickets are on sale now for the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming & Diving Championships. Single-session tickets for the championship event will be $20 per day, which includes both morning and afternoon sessions.   • Notre Dame entered the 2025-26 season under the new leadership of Head Swimming and Diving Coach Michael Norment.
  • The Stanford women’s swimming & diving program entered the 2025-26 season under the new leadership of Paul A. Violich Director of Women’s Swimming Chris Lindauer, former Notre Dame head coach.
  • Stanford women’s swimming & diving holds the title of the only program in the nation to finish in the top 10 in every NCAA Championship dating back to the 1975-76 season, most recently finishing as the runner-up in the 2025 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships.
  • Virginia has won the last five NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship titles.
  • Virginia won the 2025 CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge, which boasted each Power 4 conference’s top performing team.
  • The 2026 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships will take place February 15-21, 2026, at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The facility also will host the 2026 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Championships.
