CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the fifth set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis season, the NC State duo of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe was named the ACC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week, and Broadfoot was named the ACC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week. Additionally, Stanford’s Monika Ekstrand and Wake Forest’s Evie Oxford shared ACC Women’s Freshman of the Week honors.

ACC WOMEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Gabriella Broadfoot, NC State, Jr. (Johannesburg, South Africa)
Victoria Osuigwe, NC State, Fr. (Bradenton, Florida)

• Defeated No. 2 Ohio State’s Hephzibah Oluwadare Sophia CisseIgnatiev, 6-4.
• Defeated No. 17 Michigan’s Lily Jones and Reese Miller, 6-2.

ACC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gabriella Broadfoot, NC State, Jr. (Johannesburg, South Africa)

• Defeated Michigan’s No. 9 Piper Charney, 7-5, 5-7, 6-4.
• Teamed with Osuigwe to defeat the No. 2 Ohio State duo of Hephzibah Oluwadare and Sophia CisseIgnatiev, 6-4.
• Helped defeat the No. 17 Michigan duo of Lily Jones and Reese Miller, 6-2.

 
ACC WOMEN’S CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Monika Ekstrand, Stanford, Fr. (Delray Beach, Florida)

• Helped lead Stanford to team wins over Sacramento State and UC Santa Barbara with two singles and two doubles wins.
  • Defeated Reese Walker of Sacramento State, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
  • Defeated UC Santa Barbara’s No. 100 Ekua Youri, 6-4, 7-6 (2)
  • Helped defeat the Sacramento State duo of Cami Maldonado Gutierrez and Irene Riva, 6-3.
  • Helped defeat the UC Santa Barbara duo of My-Anh Holmes and Lily Pradkin, 6-4.

 
ACC WOMEN’S CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Evie Oxford, Wake Forest, Fr. (Dallas, Texas)

• Helped lead the Demon Deacons to team wins over Memphis and Liberty with two singles wins and two doubles wins.
  • Defeated Emma Dvorackova of Memphis, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.
  • Defeated Candy Wai of Liberty, 7-6 (7-2), 6-0.
  • Helped defeat the Memphis duo of Natalia Koppova and Rebecca Frant, 6-3.
  • Helped defeat the Liberty duo of Daniella O'Neill and Milana Tsulygina, 6-0.
