CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The sixth weekend of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis spring season gets underway on Friday, February 20, with a full day of conference matchups.
This weekend will see three ranked matchups as No. 21 Clemson travels to the West Coast to take on No 12 California on Friday at 4:30 p.m. ET and No. 18 Stanford on Saturday, February 21, at 3 p.m. ET. No. 23 SMU will face off against No. 15 Virginia on Sunday, February 22 at 1 p.m. ET.
The ACC had seven teams ranked in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women’s Top 25 Coaches Poll, highlighted by North Carolina at No. 3. California (No. 12), Virginia (No. 15), Stanford (No. 18), Duke (No. 19), Clemson (No. 21) and SMU (No. 23) filled out the rest of the top 25.

- North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier was ranked as the No. 1 singles player in the nation for the second straight poll on Thursday, February 19, in the ITA Individual Rankings.
- Virginia’s duo of Melodie Collard and Vivian Yang (No. 3), NC State’s duo of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe (No. 4), and North Carolina’s duo of Reese Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton were ranked in the top 5 in the ITA Doubles Rankings released on February 19.
- North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier won the 2025-26 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Singles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
- The NC State doubles team of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe won the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
- ACC women’s tennis players earned a total of 10 ITA All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships. The complete list of All-Americans will be announced at the end of the 2025–26 season once all criteria are met.
- The 2026 ACC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will be held April 14-19 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.
