BOSTON, Mass. (theACC.com) – After an eight-week regular season, all 18 Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Track & Field programs will descend upon the TRACK at new balance in Boston, Massachusetts, for the 2026 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships, beginning Thursday, February 26. The event will run through Saturday, February 28, with all three days streaming on ACC Network Extra.
Virginia leads the men’s field, ranked No. 8 in the most recent USTFCCCA National Track & Field Rating Index. The Cavaliers are followed by No. 15 Virginia Tech in the top 25, while Clemson, Louisville, Miami and North Carolina each appear in the top 40. Clemson leads the ACC women’s rankings at No. 9, followed by No. 12 Stanford and No. 24 Florida State. Duke, Louisville, North Carolina and NC State each appear in the top 40 of the USTFCCCA rankings.
The ACC previously hosted the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships at the TRACK at new balance in 2024. The 2024 event saw North Carolina win the men’s championship, while Virginia Tech claimed the women’s title. In the 2025 edition of the meet, which was hosted in Louisville, Kentucky, the Hokies won the men’s title, while Clemson holds the title of reigning women’s team champions.
The facility is one of the only hydraulically banked indoor tracks in the United States. The track was designed to be the fastest track in the world, and consistently hosts premier track & field events, including the Diamond League and NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. The world-class facility features grandstand seating with seating for up to 5,000 spectators.
