CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – After cruising through the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite with three victories, the Duke Varsity Eight was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week for the opening weekend of the 2026 season.

CREW OF THE WEEK – Duke Varsity Eight

• Recorded three victories at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite.
• In their opening race, the Blue Devils crossed the line at 6:32.035, edging Miami (6:32.602) by less than a second.
• Capped off Saturday finishing at 6:28.677, defeating Oklahoma (6:33.407) and Indiana (6:39.326).
• Closed the Invite on Sunday with a time of 6:34.864, ahead of North Carolina (6:43.453) and Navy (6:49.682).
