ACC Men's Basketball in the NCAA Tournament
• The ACC has eight teams in the NCAA Tournament for just the third time in league history, along with 2016-17 (nine) and 2017-18 (nine).
• Clemson, Duke, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, SMU and Virginia earned bids. With its first NCAA berth since 2017, SMU is making its first tournament appearance as a member of the ACC.
• ACC Men's Basketball has won 15 NCAA national championships, including three of the last 10. Teams currently in the ACC have combined to win eight of the last 24 NCAA crowns and 19 overall.
• North Carolina leads the way with six national titles, followed by Duke (5), Louisville (2), NC State (2) and Cal, Stanford, Syracuse and Virginia (1 apiece).
• With 492 wins and a .655 winning percentage, the ACC is the all-time winningest conference in the NCAA Tournament. The ACC's current 18 members have combined for 734 NCAA Tournament victories.
• Since 1985, nearly half of the ACC teams that earned NCAA Tournament bids have reached the Sweet 16 (106 of 218).
• The ACC is 38-19 in the NCAA Tournament in the last four seasons, best of any major conference. ACC teams have made five Men’s Final Four appearances in the last four seasons, also the most of any league.
• Since 2015, the ACC leads all conferences in Final Four appearances (10) and NCAA Tournament wins (116) and is second in national championships (3).
• The ACC is 116-61 (65.5%) over the last 10 tournaments (2015-19, ‘21-25). The 116 wins are 20 more than any other conference.
• Six different ACC programs have reached the Men's Final Four since 2016 (Duke, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia, Syracuse). That is the most schools of any league in that span.
ACC Men's Basketball Quick Hits

• Duke also earned its 22nd ACC regular-season championship and went back to back for the first time since claiming five straight from 1997-2001.
• Ten ACC teams have reached 20 wins, which is one off the league record, set during the 2015-16 and 2017-18 seasons (11). (Stats Perform)
• Five ACC teams are ranked in the latest national polls, with Duke holding the No. 1 slot in the AP and USA Today polls for the third straight week. Virginia (No. 9 AP/8 USAT), North Carolina (No. 21 AP/USAT), Louisville (No. 23 AP/24 USAT) and Miami (No. 25 AP/23 USAT) also are ranked.
