Five ACC Gymnasts Named WCGA All-Americans

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The Atlantic Coast Conference had five gymnasts named to the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) All-American teams.

The WCGA uses National Qualifying Scores (NQS) to determine first and second teams. California led the way with two All-America honorees, highlighted by California’s Tonya Paulsson, who was named to the First Team on bars and the Second Team in the all-around. Annalise Newman-Achee was also named to the Second Team in the all-around.

Stanford’s Anna Roberts led all gymnasts with four All-America honors, garnering First-Team in the all-around and Second Team in vault, beam and floor.
