CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Former Stanford forward Jasmine Aikey was selected as the 2025-26 Division I Overall Academic All-American® of the Year, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Wednesday.

The award recognizes the top student-athlete among all Division I Academic All-America® Team Members of the Year (across all sports, men's and women's).

Aikey scored a team-best 21 goals and added 11 assists to lead Stanford to its third straight Women’s College Cup. The Palo Alto, California, native earned multiple postseason accolades a season ago, including being named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team, All-ACC First Team and the ACC Tournament MVP, leading the Cardinal to their first-ever ACC Tournament title. She tallied at least one point in 20 of her 25 matches in 2025, and scored at least one goal in 16 contests while recording five multi-goal games.

The striker, who signed her first professional contract with the NWSL’s Denver Summit FC in January, is the third Stanford student-athlete to win the Overall Academic All-American of the Year award, joining Tommy Vardell (1992) and Katie Ledecky (2018). Aikey is joined by North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier (women’s tennis) and Virginia’s Claire Curzan (women’s swimming and diving) and Dylan Dietrich (men’s tennis) as the ACC’s Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year winners. The four winners are the most among all conferences.
