CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Pitt’s Olivia Babcock was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while Stanford’s Julia Blyashov was tabbed the ACC Defensive Player of the Week. Clemson’s Katherine Sandt and Pitt’s Izzy Starck were named ACC Co-Setters of the Week, while Clemson’s Maddie Anspaugh was named ACC Freshman of the Week following the second week of ACC volleyball action, played August 25-30.

ACC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Olivia Babcock, Sr., RS, Pitt (Los Angeles, California)

• Totaled 36 kills and hit .346 in a pair of top-15 wins over No. 15 Kansas (3-1) and No. 6 Wisconsin (3-0).
• Posted 19 kills, hit .333 and added nine digs in Friday’s triumph over the Jayhawks.
• Added 17 kills and averaged 5.67 kills per set and 6.83 points per set in Sunday’s 3-0 blanking of the Badgers.

ACC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Julia Blyashov, Sr., OH, Stanford (Carlsbad, California)

• Averaged 4.88 digs per set in wins over No. 6 Wisconsin (3-1) and No. 15 Kansas (3-1).
• Posted a career-high 25 digs (6.25 digs per set) in Friday’s victory over the Badgers.
• Added 14 digs to go along with 14 kills for her first double-double of the season in Sunday’s win over the Jayhawks.
• Her average of 4.88 digs per set ranked as the highest among all ACC players last week.

ACC CO-SETTER OF THE WEEK
Katherine Sandt, Sr., S, Clemson (Western Springs, Illinois)

• Handed out 130 assists in three non-conference matches last week, the most among all ACC players.
• Posted a pair of double-doubles, beginning with 35 assists and 11 digs in a 3-1 win over Charleston Southern on Friday.
• Registered 53 assists (10.6 assists per set) to go along with 13 digs in five-set setback to Butler.
• The 53 helpers were her most since posting 63 against Georgia Tech on October 16, 2024.
• Recorded 42 assists in Sunday’s 3-1 victory over Western Carolina.

ACC CO-SETTER OF THE WEEK
Izzy Starck, Jr., S, Pitt (Viera, Florida)

• Posted 73 assists, helping Pitt hit .382 in victories over No. 15 Kansas and No. 6 Wisconsin.
• Handed out a season-high 45 assists (11.25 assists per set) in Pitt’s 3-1 win over the Jayhawks on Friday.
• The 45 assists tied for the most by an ACC player in a four-set match this season.
• Registered 28 assists (9.33 assists per set) in a 3-0 blanking of the Badgers on Sunday.

ACC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Maddie Anspaugh, Fr., Pin, Clemson (Rockford, Illinois)

• Recorded 52 kills and hit .225 in three non-conference matches last week.
• Posted 15 kills and committed just three errors in her collegiate debut, leading Clemson to a 3-1 win over Charleston Southern.
• Totaled 17 kills in a five-set setback to Butler on Saturday.
• Registered a season-high 20 kills (5.00 per set) in Sunday’s 3-1 victory over Western Carolina.
• Named the Orange Bash Tournament MVP.
