CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina senior Lillah Blum was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while Stanford junior Lizzie Boamah was selected as the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for ACC Women’s Soccer. Notre Dame’s Sonoma Kasica was named the ACC Goalkeeper of the Week, while Miami striker Madelynn Sadusky was named the ACC Freshman of the Week for matches played September 14–20.

OFFENSIVE – Lillah Blum, Sr., F, North Carolina (Verona, Wisconsin)

• Scored two goals and handed out an assist in Thursday’s 4-2 win over No. 2 Duke.
• Opened the scoring in the 31st minute.
• Scored a 71st-minute equalizer before adding an assist on UNC’s 89th-minute insurance goal.

DEFENSIVE – Lizzie Boamah, Jr., D, Stanford (San Diego, California)

• Played the full 90 minutes in Sunday’s 2-0 victory over No. 3 Wake Forest.
• Helped limit the Demon Deacons to just four shots with one on frame.
• The shutout marked the first time Wake Forest was held without a goal this season.

GOALKEEPER – Sonoma Kasica, Jr., GK, Notre Dame (St. Petersburg, Florida)

• Made six saves and earned her second clean sheet of the season in Friday’s 4-0 victory over Boston College.
• Totaled three saves in each half, as the six stops were her most in an ACC match since she stopped seven shots against Florida State on October 9, 2025.
• Currently leads the ACC with an average of 4.5 saves per game.

FRESHMAN – Madelynn Sadusky, Fr., F, Miami (Medford, New Jersey)

• Scored both goals in Miami’s 2-1 victory at previously unbeaten NC State.
• Opened the scoring with a 10th-minute goal before adding the game-winning tally in the 80th minute.
• The brace was her first multi-goal effort of her collegiate career.
• Two of her three goals on the season have been game-winners.

Women’s Soccer Notes

• The ACC’s 84 non-conference victories and .798 winning percentage are the best marks among all conferences.
• ACC teams have earned a result in 10 of their 12 matchups against ranked opponents, posting a 6-2-4 (.667) record.
• ACC teams are 52-5-16 (.822) in non-conference home matches this season.
• A total of seven ACC teams were ranked in the top 25 of the initial RPI rankings, including four teams in the top 10.
