CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Pitt’s Olivia Babcock and SMU’s Suli Davis were named the Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Offensive Players of the Week, while Louisville’s Addison Makun was tabbed the ACC Defensive Player of the Week. SMU’s Hannah Beauford was named ACC Setter of the Week and Georgia Tech’s Alida Bennour was named ACC Freshman of the Week following the sixth week of ACC volleyball action, played September 21-27.
 
ACC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Olivia Babcock, Sr., RS, Pitt (Los Angeles, California)

• Totaled 38 kills and 6.33 kills per set for a .349 hitting percentage in wins against No. 12 Stanford and California.
• Registered 18 kills and five aces for a .429 hitting percentage against California.
• Posted 20 kills and 6.67 kills per set in the sweep over Stanford.
• Third Offensive Player of the Week award this season (August 25, August 31).

 
ACC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Suli Davis, So., OH, SMU (Euless, Texas)

• Registered 44 total kills and 6.29 kills per set in a sweep over No. 12 Stanford and a win over California.
• Registered 10 kills in the first set versus California, the most in a single set by a Mustang during head coach Sam Erger’s tenure.
• Notched a season-high 26 kills against California, marking her fourth match this season with 20+ kills.

 
ACC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Addison Makun, So., MB, Louisville (Charlestown, Indiana)

• Recorded 14 blocks (2.33 per set) in road sweeps over Syracuse and Boston College.
• Notched seven blocks against both Syracuse and Boston College, extending her streak of at least seven blocks to three-straight matches.

 
ACC SETTER OF THE WEEK
Hannah Beauford, So., S, SMU (Prosper, Texas)

• Totaled 82 assists, averaged 11.71 assists per set and led the Mustangs’ offense to a .380 hitting percentage in a sweep over No. 12 Stanford and a win over California.
• Paced the Mustangs to a season-best .407 team hitting percentage against Stanford. 
• Posted nine digs and five total blocks on the week.

 
ACC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Alida Bennour, Fr., RS, Georgia Tech (Algiers, Algeria)

• Hit .438 on the weekend with 26 total kills and 4.33 kills per set.
• Posted a career-high-tying 21 kills (7.00 kills per set) on a .559 hitting percentage in a sweep against Virginia, becoming the first Yellow Jacket since Julia Bergmann in 2022 to total 20+ kills in a three-set match.
• Added 17 digs and seven service aces on the week.
