CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina sophomore Bella Devey was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while California senior Malia McMahon and NC State fifth-year Alex Mohr shared ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors for ACC Women’s Soccer. SMU senior Aubrey Brown was named the ACC Goalkeeper of the Week, while Wolfpack goalkeeper Amor Leigh Martin Esteban was named the ACC Freshman of the Week for matches played September 21-27.

OFFENSIVE – Bella Devey, So., F, North Carolina (Draper, Utah)

• Netted two goals in a span of 26 seconds during the first 10 minutes of Saturday’s 3-1 victory at No. 16 Virginia, recording her third brace of the season.
• The second goal marked the game-winning tally, her fourth on the year.
• Currently ranks third in the country and second in the ACC in total goals with 12.

CO-DEFENSIVE – Malia McMahon, Sr., D, California (San Clemente, California)

• Led a California backline that registered back-to-back shutouts against Boston College and Fresno State.
• Helped limit Boston College to just four shots on goal in Thursday’s 1-0 victory.
• The Cal backline held Fresno State to just one shot on goal and four shots for the match in Sunday’s 2-0 win.
• The two clean sheets marked the first time the Golden Bears have recorded consecutive shutouts since October 12-16, 2025.

CO-DEFENSIVE – Alex Mohr, 5th, D, NC State (Poway, California)

• Anchored the NC State backline in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Virginia Tech.
• Helped limit the Hokies to just three shots on goal.
• Added two assists on the offensive end, marking the first two assists of her collegiate career.

GOALKEEPER – Aubrey Brown, Sr., GK, SMU (Irving, Texas)

• Posted a season-high nine saves in Friday’s scoreless draw with No. 6 Stanford.
• The nine saves are tied for the most by an ACC goalkeeper this season.
• The clean sheet was her fifth of the season and first since August 30.
• Six of her nine saves came in the second half to help preserve the shutout.

FRESHMAN – Amor Leigh Martin Esteban, Fr., GK, NC State (Motril, Spain)

• Registered three saves in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Virginia Tech.
• The clean sheet marked the first of her collegiate career.
• All three of her saves came in the first half.

Women’s Soccer Notes

• The ACC’s 85 non-conference victories and .799 winning percentage are the best marks among all conferences.
• The ACC has nine teams ranked in the top 30 of the latest RPI rankings, the most among all conferences.
• ACC teams have earned a result in 10 of their 12 matchups against ranked opponents, posting a 6-2-4 (.667) record.
• ACC teams are 53-5-16 (.822) in non-conference home matches this season.
