2026 ACC Basketball Tipoff Attendees Announced

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday the basketball student-athletes selected by its 18 league schools to attend the 2026 ACC Tipoff, which will be held October 5-7 at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, North Carolina. The women’s event will be held on Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 6, while the men’s event will begin on Tuesday, October 6 and conclude Wednesday, October 7.

ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D. will participate in the Commissioner’s Forum at 12:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, October 6.

ACC Network will be live from ACC Tipoff for three days of expansive coverage from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The 24/7 national network dedicated to ACC sports will provide the event’s most robust television coverage.

Men’s Notes
  • ACC Men’s Basketball has won 15 NCAA national championships.
  • Teams currently in the ACC have combined to win eight of the last 25 NCAA crowns and 19 overall.
  • The ACC has captured three NCAA Championships since 2015 (Duke 2015, North Carolina 2017 and Virginia 2019).
  • Since 2015, the ACC leads all conferences in Men’s Final Four appearances (10) and NCAA Tournament wins (122).
  • Six different ACC programs have reached the Final Four since 2015 (Duke, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia and Syracuse) – tied for the most schools of any league in that span.

Women’s Notes
  • A conference-record nine ACC teams were selected for the 2026 NCAA Tournament, breaking the previous record of eight, set in each of the last seven seasons.
  • Since 2018, the ACC has sent 65 teams to the NCAA Tournament, the most among all conferences in that span.
  • The ACC has sent at least one team to the Elite Eight in 24 consecutive tournaments, the longest active streak of any conference.
  • Headlined by three teams in the top 10, four ACC teams are ranked in ESPN’s Way-Too-Early Top 25.
  • In March, the ACC will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament, the longest-running collegiate conference tournament in the country. For the first time since 1999, the tournament will be played in Charlotte, North Carolina.
