CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Louisville’s Chloe Meester was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while Stanford’s Lizzy Andrew was tabbed the ACC Defensive Player of the Week. Louisville’s Nayelis Cabello and Clemson’s Katherine Sandt were named ACC Co-Setters of the Week, while NC State’s Britni Silver was named ACC Freshman of the Week following the third week of ACC volleyball action, played August 31–September 6.
 
ACC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Chloe Meester, So., OH, Louisville (Mount Vernon, Iowa)

• Totaled 37 kills (4.11 kills per set) and hit .531 in three sweeps against No. 9 Texas, No. 18 TCU and Dayton.
• Recorded a career-high 14 kills on 18 swings (.778 hitting percentage) against Dayton.
• Led the Louisville offense against No. 9 Texas with 13 kills on 23 swings and no errors (.565 hitting percentage).
• Has now recorded double-digit kills in five of her first six collegiate matches.

ACC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lizzy Andrew, Jr., MB, Stanford (Ridgefield, Washington)

• Averaged 2.00 blocks per set in wins over South Florida and Marquette.
• Posted a career-high 12 blocks for her first collegiate double-double against South Florida.
• Totaled 40.0 points and 5.00 points per set for the Cardinal.

ACC CO-SETTER OF THE WEEK
Katherine Sandt, Sr., S, Clemson (Western Springs, Illinois)

• Totaled 114 assists while averaging 8.77 assists per set in wins over UNC Greensboro, East Carolina and Appalachian State.
• Tallied 28 digs, 17 kills and nine total blocks on the week.
• Was named to the Clemson Invitational All-Tournament Team.
• Reached 2,000 career assists to earn a spot in Clemson’s all-time record book.

ACC CO-SETTER OF THE WEEK
Nayelis Cabello, Jr., S, Louisville (Clermont, Florida)

• Posted 101 assists and 11.22 assists per set, leading the Louisville offense to sweeps over No. 9 Texas, No. 18 TCU and Dayton, with the Cardinals hitting at least .350 as a team in each match.
• Dished out 36 assists (.412 team hitting) in the win over No. 18 TCU and set a new career high with 18 digs, while also recording four kills and three blocks.
• Tallied 36 assists (.350 team hitting) on Sept. 6 against No. 9 Texas to go with 10 digs and a block.
• Recorded 29 assists against Dayton, leading Louisville to a season-high team hitting percentage of .487 while also recording four digs, two blocks and two aces.

ACC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Britni Silver, Fr., OH, NC State (Greenville, North Carolina)

• Recorded 51 kills, averaging 3.92 kills per set, to lead the Wolf Pack to a 3-0 week against George Washington, Wofford and Charlotte.
• Posted a career-high 25 kills against Wofford while adding 13 kills against both George Washington and Charlotte.
• Had a career-best three aces against both Wofford and Charlotte.
