Brad Hostetter serves as the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Chief Governance and Compliance Officer. A member of Commissioner Jim Phillips’ Cabinet, Hostetter leads the Conference’s government relations efforts and oversees its governance process, compliance operations and student-athlete success programs.
Hostetter joined the ACC in 2012 following more than a decade at the NCAA national office, where he worked in Academic and Membership Affairs. Prior to joining the NCAA, he served as Director of Compliance at Weber State University.
A native of Newark, Ohio, Hostetter earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Cincinnati, where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. He later earned a master’s degree in sport administration from Florida State University.
Hostetter resides in Fort Mill, South Carolina, and has two sons and a daughter.
