Emily Watkins has been with the Atlantic Coast Conference since 1991 and currently serves as Office Coordinator/Desktop Publishing.
Watkins worked in the Media Relations department for eight years before taking on oversight of general office operations. She also edits the ACC Basketball Tournament Record Book, as well as the Olympic Sports Record Book that contains the official statistical history for 23 of the Conference’s 27 sports.
A native of Wake Forest, N.C., Watkins earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina in 1991 where she began her career in athletics as a student assistant in UNC’s Sports Information Office.
In addition to spending time with her extended family, Watkins enjoys container gardening, graphic design, and serving her church as a member of the choir and the Leadership Academy planning team.
