Kara Tyree joined the league office in 2014 and serves as a Director in the Men's Basketball department.
Tyree leads the development, management, and administration of the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament, and serves as primary contact for the tournament facility management and LOC teams. She organizes and manages ticket operations and serves as Tournament Manager during postseason NCAA Tournament games hosted by the ACC.
In addition, she has worked the Battle 4 Atlantis Basketball Tournament since 2011 as a member of the game operations staff.
Prior to working for the ACC, Tyree held positions at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex (Event Manager); the University of Maryland (Assistant Director, Operations & Facilities); University of Central Florida (Assistant Director, Ticket Operations); and The Lakeland Center (Event Coordinator).
A native of Fairborn, Ohio, Tyree earned a bachelor's degree at Wright State University in 1999.
