CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The Atlantic Coast Conference will host the ACC Night of Legends on Friday, December 3, offering a tribute to the outstanding athletes from the league's rich history, which includes National Champions, Heisman Trophy winners, and first-round draft picks. The event will honor a Football Legend from all 12 ACC member institutions as well as the 2010 ACC Football season's postseason award winners.
This year, the event features ACC Football Legends: Boston College's Tony Thurman, Clemson's Steve Fuller, Duke's Jay Wilkinson, Florida State's Peter Boulware, Georgia Tech's Randy Rhino, Maryland's Darryl Hill, Miami's Cortez Kennedy, North Carolina's Ethan Horton, NC State's Ted Brown, Virginia's Barry Word, Virginia Tech's Cornell Brown, and Wake Forest's Larry Hopkins.
In addition, the following Player and Coach Awards will be presented:

The gala will begin with a cocktail hour at Charlotte's Convention Center downtown. Doors will open around 7 p.m. and guests will be invited in to have a seat, enjoy dinner and the presentation of awards.
2010 ACC Football Championship Game The 2010 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game will be played December 4, at 7:45 pm at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium and will feature Atlantic Division Champion Florida State against Coastal Division Champion Virginia Tech.
